Every time the papanas are a success. Everyone likes it.
They are delicious.
- 500 g of cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- frying oil
- 200 ml sour cream
- 150 g of strawberry jam
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Roasted papanasi dessert with sour cream and strawberry jam:
Drain the cottage cheese well and put it in a large bowl.
Add eggs, salt powder, vanilla sugar and mix well.
The flour is mixed with baking powder and added through a sieve and mixed.
A soft dough will be obtained.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave to cool for 30 minutes.
I took the dough out of the fridge and put it on a floured countertop with a little flour.
I spread out a sheet and cut out the rings with a glass and a glass stopper. Then I modeled it by hand to give it the desired shape. I also modeled the tickets by hand.
As they sat on the worktop, they swelled a little.
I put the oil in a deeper pot and started to fry them.
The oil must be well heated.
Fry for 2 or 3 minutes or until golden.
I took them out and placed them on absorbent paper.
I then transferred them to plates and garnished them with sour cream and strawberry jam.
