I used pieces of fresh carp bought from Selgros. With skin and bones. It is generally used over freshwater fish (but not musa). The recipe is for 4-6 people (depending on how hungry they are).


Ingredients for baked carp with vegetables

1. Clean the fish of scales and entrails, wash and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

2. Peel and wash the vegetables, then cut them into cubes. In the yena pots I arranged the vegetables, then I seasoned them and added the oil and salt to taste.

3. I put the carp pieces on top of the vegetables in the yena pots. I preferred to cover them with aluminum foil before putting them in the oven, but baking in the oven can be done without aluminum foil.

The cooking time will not exceed 40 minutes, and when the vegetables and fish are slightly browned, then the carp steak with baked vegetables is ready.

After cooking the carp steak with vegetables, I preferred to increase its flavor by adding a few thin slices of lemon, but you can have a clove of garlic in a bowl next to it.

We clean the fish very well, wash it under running water and dry the fish pieces with a paper towel. We insist on the spinal cord and inside, we carefully clean the blood and the black membrane.

Sprinkle the fish to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
