Add this baked feta to your holiday appetizer arsenal—and you won’t regret it. In each balanced bite, you get creamy feta cheese, tangy marinara sauce, earthy oregano, and bright lemon zest. Scoop it all up with crisp naan bread, the perfect vehicle for this crave-worthy dish.

Served right from the oven, this crowd-pleaser looks stunning and smells irresistible. Best of all, your guests will never guess just how easy it is. Store-bought marinara sauce saves time, but make your own from scratch if you have the time. Look for a block of feta cheese in brine, as this variety packs the most flavor. Hang on to the leftover brine—and sneak a little of it into the vinaigrette for a Greek salad.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2

Fill a small, oven-safe dish with marinara sauce. Top with feta. Bake until bubbly and heated through, about 20 minutes.

Step 3

Leave dish in oven, and preheat broiler to HIGH. Broil feta 3 minutes until cheese starts to brown. Remove dish from oven.

Step 4

Coat naan with cooking spray and broil on HIGH until golden brown and crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 5

Sprinkle feta and marinara with lemon zest and oregano; add garnishes (if using). Serve warm with naan bread.
