Lent cake with chocolate, peanut butter and raspberries

It may sound strange, but I never thought it could be such a good and successful combination of chocolate, raspberry and peanut butter, but I thought to myself that the death attempt has not and has not had at all, on the contrary resounding success! Fluffy and soft top, moist and chocolatey, raspberry jam and chocolate cream with peanut butter, sounds good, right ?!

The recipe for this wet fasting chocolate top is so simple that you need some affordable ingredients that you will also find at the store on the corner of the block, 2 bowls, a baking tray and an oven! As you can see in the photos it is so uniform, with small and thick bubbles, perfect I could say!

You don't necessarily need to have raspberry jam in your pantry, because now we find fresh and frozen raspberries all year round and you can make it right away! Honestly, lately I've been doing it when I need to, once for lack of space, and in the other order of ideas so that I always have it fresh!

Stay tuned for the list of ingredients and you'll get a fasting cake with lots of chocolate, raspberries and peanut butter cream.

Countertop ingredients:

  • 250 g white flour
  • 40 g cocoa
  • 7 g baking soda
  • 370 ml soy / coconut / almond milk
  • 80 g chocolate with at least 70% cocoa without milk (vegan)
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 150 g caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 50 g of bee honey

Cream ingredients:

  • 125 ml soy / coconut / almond milk
  • 50 g caster sugar
  • 130 g dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa without milk (vegan)
  • 80 g butter peanut butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 150 g raspberry / cherry / blueberry / apricot jam

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Wallpaper a round tray with a removable bottom of 22-24 cm with baking paper.

Put all the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking soda) in a bowl and mix.

In a saucepan put 70 ml of milk from the total amount and put it to boil, add the chocolate and leave for 2-3 minutes and then mix.

In another bowl put the remaining 300 ml of milk, sugar, honey, oil, salt powder and vanilla extract, mix until the sugar melts.

Add the chocolate composition to the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix and then incorporate the dry ingredients.

Mix well and pour into a tray lined with baking paper. Bake for about 50 minutes or until the toothpick test passes.

After removing it from the oven, we leave it for another 10 minutes in the tray in which it was baked, after which we take it out on a grill and let it cool well, after which it can be cut.

How to prepare the cream:

Bring the milk and sugar to the boil, then add the chocolate, leave for 2-3 minutes and mix well.

Put the peanut butter over the chocolate composition and mix vigorously to obtain a fine and homogeneous cream. Let cool for 30 minutes.

If the countertop has grown with a belly that is too high, it can be easily cut so as to obtain a somewhat uniform countertop. Cut the top into 2 equal parts.

Remove the cream from the fridge and mix it lightly with a spatula, until it is homogeneous.

Grease the first top with a third of the total amount of jam, put half of the amount of cream, come with the other top greased with a second third of raspberry jam and put it with the greased part on top of the cream greased on the first top.

Spread the last part of the jam over the second countertop, put the last half of the cream and spread lightly with a spatula. I garnished it with raspberries and put it in the fridge until the next day.

We cut cold the next day and serve at room temperature. Simple, fast and very, very tasty, but I don't hold you back, I let you get to work, so good luck and good appetite!

It is a chocolate fasting cake, with the consistency of a brownie, slightly moist on the inside, consistent and aromatic. Extremely easy to prepare, and the taste is delicious (although I was quite cautious at first, at the sight of the recipe).

The recipe was taken and adapted from here.

Ingredient:

250 g premix for pastry "Dr. Man"

350 ml of almond milk or soy milk

130 ml coconut oil (or mixture with dapita oil coconut oil will give a very pleasant aroma to the cake)

flavors (rum, lemon peel, orange peel - what you want)

Mix in a bowl the dry ingredients: cocoa premix, baking powder, fructose, salt.

Heat the vegetable milk over low heat

Add the oil over the dry ingredients (the coconut oil must be brought to a liquid consistency), add the hot milk and mix quickly until smooth.

Pour into the mold and bake at 170 degrees Celsius, on the bottom grill, for 45-55 minutes (check with a toothpick after the first 40 minutes). The time is variable because it depends on the shape used or the lower the height of the cake, the faster it will bake.

After baking, turn it over on a grill, prick it with a fork and pour while it is hot, dark chocolate diluted with a little vegetable milk and a little oil, or lightly heated honey (grease with a brush). Then sprinkle with coconut.

Fasting is the period we can take full advantage of to detoxify the body. A period of a few weeks without meat and animal products is an energy boost for the body. Fasting recipes are extremely versatile and not at all boring, as some believe. Vegetables, cereals, leaves and seeds can be combined in a lot of ways to cook a fasting dish. Whether you choose a long-term lifestyle or a short one, fasting recipes can convince you that meatless food can be extremely tasty.

Broccoli recipes. Two other ultrafast solutions and dietary

9. Broccoli salad with oranges, cauliflower and pomegranate

Ingredients for four servings:

  • 200 g broccoli
  • 200 g cauliflower
  • 200 g orange
  • 100 g pomegranate
  • olive oil
  • soy sauce
  • vinegar

It is an extremely balanced and complete salad, very welcome in the cold season. It can perfectly accompany a slice of chicken breast, in the context of a low-calorie menu.

Broccoli and cauliflower are passed through hot water for about 2 minutes. Alternatively, they can be steamed for 5 minutes, thus losing less of their nutritional properties. Broccoli, cauliflower and orange should be in equal amounts, and pomegranate in half. Season with a quick dressing of olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

10. Broccoli recipes. Broccoli cream soup

Ingredients for four servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 100 g leek
  • 50 g celery
  • 50 g carrots
  • core of 10 nuts
  • 50 g of dried tomatoes
  • olive oil, salt, pepper

The procedure for the cream soup is a classic one: sauté in oil over medium heat the vegetables cut into relatively large pieces, 2-3 minutes. The easiest way is to use an aluminum or stainless steel pot directly. After they have taken on a little color, cover them with water and boil them for about 15 minutes. Then we pass them through a blender, adjusting the salt and pepper.

It is served as a first course garnished with walnut kernels quickly baked in the pan and with dried tomatoes and cut into pieces. In this way we have an interesting difference of tastes and textures and we avoid getting bored due to a too uniform taste.

Vegan / De Post

CHOCOLATE! Exactly, I made a fast (or vegan) cake with extremely delicious chocolate cream. You can't just stick to one slice, that's how it looks.

Chili with vegan meat

Have you tried vegan meat chili? What do you mean "vegan meat"? Exist something like this? I'll explain.

Cream soup of red lentils and sweet potatoes

I made a soup of red lentil cream, sweet potatoes and peanut butter so good, you feel like licking your fingers!

Tikka Masala with chickpeas and basmati rice

Indian appetite is often present, and one of the recipes I've been repeating lately was Tikka Masala with chickpeas, served with basmati rice.

Pumpkin cream soup with coconut milk

If she is still the star of this season, the pumpkin will be present in as many recipes as possible in the coming months. Today I warm your souls and bellies with a cream soup.

Chicken curry and coconut milk

I could eat curry every day, I like it so much. This time I show you a curry with chickpeas and coconut milk, which I served with basmati rice.

Snickers candy

Snickers are addictive! If you're going to ask me, I'll never admit it, but I didn't stop until I ate four pieces in a row.

Chocolate mousse with aquafaba

The chocolate mousse with aquafaba is airy, chocolatey and you won't believe how good it can be, even if we find this "aquafaba" in it.

Baked potato chips

You are invited! We made baked potato chips, crispy and tasty, for those of you who love to nibble on something on film, boredom or.

Fusilli with "ragu" made of red lentils

The fusilli pasta with “ragu” sauce made of red lentils is actually the vegan or fasting version of the pasta with ragu bolognese minced meat sauce. I know there are many.

Try these recipes for fasting meals

1. Granola with oats and coffee

Have you seen those beautiful granola bags in the store? They are not necessarily cheap, and we believe that you can make them even better at home! Let's see how we can make our own granola recipe at home. We mixed oats, nuts, flax seeds, dates and coffee, and to bind them well we used a little almond butter. Needless to say, a delicious dish came out!

2. Salad with potatoes, beans and olives

Are you fasting? Or maybe you just want to add some vegetables to today's menu. Regardless of your motivation, this salad is worth a try. It is a very hearty dish that goes well with something sour. So I chose both donuts and pickles.

3. Pasta and vegetable salad with avocado dressing and coconut milk

We will use both fusilli tricolor pasta and variously colored vegetables to cook a salad that is not only tasty and nutritious, but also good-looking. And as dressing has such an important role in a respectable salad, we will prepare one based on avocado and coconut milk. It can also be served at room temperature and warm, but that remains at everyone's choice.

4. Mushroom soup served in bread

Probably a mushroom soup is not the first thing you think of when you want to impress your guests. Well, this is no ordinary soup. It is served in bread, which makes it much more interesting. It has already whetted our appetites, hasn't it?

5. Onion soup

Very healthy, even if you're not cold. It is low in carbohydrates and almost no protein, not too fat and has a low calorie intake. Moreover, in a maximum of half an hour it is ready. Serve with a little dill sprinkled on top. If you really want to, you can also add some cream.

6. Vegetarian belly soup

Tripe soup? A delicacy, without a doubt. But not for vegetarians and vegans! Fortunately for them, things are about to change. I replaced the beef belly with pleurotus mushrooms, the latter having a texture and taste very close to the original. This soup has no cream, but you will see that I replaced it with a surprise ingredient. This recipe can be tried even on a fasting day!

7. Chickpea stew

Most stews are built around a small piece of meat, but we can make some delicious and fasting ones. This has chickpeas as the main ingredient, so you won't miss protein. And to give the stew an exotic taste, we flavored it with spices specific to Asian cuisines. Let's find out what I have prepared for you!

8. Rice with prunes

Romanian cuisine sometimes surprisingly combines different ingredients, and this recipe below is a perfect example. It is a fairly common dish in rural areas, especially during fasting. Even if at first the combination of rice with onions and plums may seem a little strange, we advise you not to be conservative and try it at least once!

9. Oatmeal with pumpkin puree

We want to show you how to prepare an oatmeal in 10 minutes, this nutritious and so simple food. Our advice is to serve it with pumpkin puree and some berries. You will immediately feel the difference and repeat the experience.

10. Black woman fasting

The fact that you are fasting does not prevent you from eating something sweet from time to time. Sweet, but no of sweet. And don't be skeptical, this blackberry recipe is at least as tasty as a classic one. It is made extremely easy and has many healthy ingredients in the composition. Thus, even if you have never cooked sweets before, this is one with which you can start your pastry-confectionery career. Vegan!

11. Fasting donuts

Donuts are one of our favorite desserts, which we never seem to get tired of. If you want to enjoy their flavor even on a fasting day, here is a great recipe. I used soy milk and margarine, but stay calm. The donuts will be as tasty and fluffy as usual, so you won't even realize you've come across a fasting recipe.

12. Mini cakes with bananas and flax seeds

We have here a dessert that our vegetarian fans will surely appreciate. We used almond milk, and in the composition of the dough we find flax seeds and banana puree (you can also use some more ripe bananas). But add to these muffins the chocolate icing mentioned in the recipe. You will see that it works great!
